Richard Skidmore
2013 FLPS Co-Valedictorian

We are delighted to congratulate our former student Richard Skidmore. He has received recognition from Florida Gulf Coast University for his academic achievements for Fall, 2015. He is again on the Dean’s List having maintained a semester GPA of 3.5 or better. Richard received official notification of the honor from Robert Gregerson, PhD, Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences.


Daniel Ross Tacher
2013 FLPS Co-Valedictorian

Daniel Tacher, currently a Freshman at Florida Gulf Coast University, has been placed on President’s List for the Fall 2013 semester. To qualify for this distinction, a student must take a minimum of 12 credit hours and attain a perfect 4.0 semester grade point average. This honor will be noted on Daniel’s academic transcript and will become a permanent part of his official academic record at Florida Gulf Coast University.

Richard Skidmore, a thirteen year FLPS student and current Florida Gulf Coast University student, recently won an award rarely given to college freshmen, having been recognized for ‘Outstanding Growth’ as a result of his extensive community service activities and overall good deed performed as a member of his college fraternity.

Because of his outstanding academic achievement, Richard was also recently selected  to become a member of Florida Gulf Coast University’s Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, the oldest and largest first-year honor society in the country! As a Phi Eta Sigma member, Richard is among an elite group of students recognized for their  outstanding personal academic achievement.


Alessandra Maria Dzuba
Class of 2008

Alessandra Maria Dzuba, a 2008 FLPS graduate, has made the 2010 spring honor roll at Kansas University. The honor roll is comprised of undergraduates who meet requirements in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Alessandra attended FLPS  starting in fourth grade, and demonstrated incredible achievement as an athlete, a scholar and an artist. Alessandra played tennis competitively throughout high school, and is currently a star athlete on KU’s varsity tennis team. She was named valedictorian of her FLPS graduating class in 2008, and demonstrated her astounding artistic talent when she re-created Vincent van Gogh’s The Starry Night on the outside of FLPS’s art room.
