Ft. Lauderdale, FL (May 19, 2010) Fort Lauderdale Preparatory School, a private Pre-K thru 12th academy located at 3275 W. Oakland Park Boulevard, announced today that they have been reaccredited for another five years by the esteemed Southern Association of Colleges and School (SACS).
Fort Lauderdale Preparatory School (FLPS) has been quietly serving a small and diverse population of students for more than thirty years. The school is family owned and operated, and provides students with a nurturing yet stimulating academic environment that creates enthusiasm for learning as a lifelong pursuit.
The nine page accreditation report from SACS provided several glowing reviews of FLPS, particularly focusing on the school’s attention to its individual students: “The philosophy of the school is evident in the words of everyone on the staff. The focus is on the development of the individual and extra care is made to treat everyone as an individual. Individual attention, love and kindness, caring and support are the key ingredients of what happens in this school, and they are obvious in the dedication of the director, administration and staff, as well.”
